How to Convert MBOX File and Extract emails from MBOX file

Steps Guide to Convert MBOX/MBX file with SoftLay MBOX Converter

Steps1: Install the MBOX Converter on Windows machine

Launch MBOX Converter software (Go to Start » Program » MBOX Converter » MBOX Converter). Software will display the following screen:

Steps2: Please click on Select folder having (.mbox) file button to select the folder having MBOX/MBX file using software as shown below:

Important Note: Please copy all the mbox/mbx file in a folder then browse the folder using MBOX Converter software for Batch conversion.

Steps3: After select the folder software will extract all the MBOX/MBX file and shown the screen below:

Steps4: After extract the MBOX/MBX file software will show the following screen:

After select the MBOX file choose converted email format:

EML : To convert MBOX into Outlook Express, Windows Mail & Windows Live Mail
EMLX: To convert MBOX into Apple Mac Mail
PST: To convert MBOX into Ms Outlook
MSG: To convert MBOX into Outlook, database management application and forensic application.

Steps6: Then click Convert button and select the destination path to save the converted file as shown in following screen:

Steps7: After save the destination path software will show the confirmation screen as shown below:
